After learning to read the vowels, consonants pa series, ha and na series, you can start reading the ka series letters. The letters are not taught in the alphabetical order, because it is of no use when we learn to read. The most used letters can be learnt first and the not so often used letters can be learnt later.

Special Note:
Note these pairs of letters carefully. Just by a change in the way the top line is placed the sound of the letters change. When you read and write Hindi you should be careful about how the line is drawn on the letter.
